For Bidders

When you win — invoices and payment

What happens after the hammer falls and how to pay your winner invoice.

  1. Auction closes; if you are high bidder and reserve is met, the lot is sold to you.
  2. A winner invoice is generated with hammer price plus buyer's premium.
  3. Open /account/invoices, review line items, and pay before the deadline.
  4. Payment goes to the seller (via or direct); the platform handles disbursement.
  5. Leave a review for the seller from /account/reviews when eligible.

What the buyer invoice contains

Your invoice shows: Hammer Price (winning bid) + Buyer's Premium (a % set by the seller, e.g. 10%). That total is what you pay to the seller. Bidyear does NOT add a separate fee to your buyer invoice — the platform's revenue comes from the seller side only.

Tip: Example: $100,000 hammer + 10% buyer premium = $110,000 total on your invoice. No additional Bidyear fee appears for buyers.
