How to place a bid

Open any active lot from the catalog or your watchlist. The bid box shows the minimum next bid based on current high bid plus increment.

Quick bid

Click the orange Bid Now button to submit the minimum acceptable amount immediately.

Maximum (proxy) bid

Click Enter a maximum bid, enter your ceiling, and submit. The system bids for you up to that amount in increment steps — you may win below your max if competition stops earlier.

Before you bid

1. Accept terms of sale when prompted (logged for compliance).
2. If the auction requires a bid deposit, register on the lot page first.
3. Ensure your verification tier bid limit covers your amount.
